Year 10 Photography Trip

Valuable skill building on the GCSE Photography trip

Year 10 photography students recently spent the morning at M-Shed in Bristol, visiting the National History Museum’s Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition. All the pupils spent time in the exhibition viewing the amazing photography and all of them came away from the event with a favourite image that they could use to influence their own photography.

After the exhibition, the pupils took to the streets of Bristol, with their own cameras and took part in a street photography shoot. The aim of the shoot was to build up their creative and technical photography skills, shooting portrait reflections and urban landscapes, getting a sense of how to compose and frame shots effectively.

It was a great morning outing and the thanks go to Miss Klein for arranging the trip.
